Disability
The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that one in five people will become disabled in their lifetime.
Disability is where some policies pay benefits only if one is unable to perform the duties of their normal occupation, while others will pay only if one cannot work in any job at all. Becoming disabled can have a devastating impact on your financial situation by stripping you of your ability to make a living.
Your disability compensation is based on some of the following most common factors:
- Work – Related Accidents
- Workers Compensation
- Construction Accidents
- Work-Related Burn Injuries
- Electrical Accidents
- Long Term Disability
- Mental Disability
- Bi-Polar Disorder
- Major Depressive Disorder
- Neurological Disorders
- Fibromyalgia

Disability FAQs
Who decides whether I am disabled?
Once you file a claim, your case is sent to the Disability Determination Service. If the claim is denied, you can request reconsideration and the case is sent to a different disability examiner for review.
